Northern Cross Country Relays 2019

The Northern Athletics Cross Country Relays took place at the usual Graves Park in Sheffield on Saturday 19th October where there were some great team performances from ECH in the junior races.

The under 13 boys A team finished 26th overall with the B team just 11 seconds behind in 27th place. Good performances from Alfie Bundy (6.40), Callum Beswick (6.15) and Cole Wright (6.43) in the A team and Tim Elgar (6.19), Oliver Bentley (6.19) and Joe Taylor (7.11) making up the B team. The under 13 girls performed brilliantly to give ECH their highest team finish on the day in 12th with Emily Bowker (6.07), Maria Rooke (6.45) and Darcy Slattery (6.47) all running well.

The under 15 boys finished a respectable 28th place with Kane Grant (8.31), Lewis Brown (8.17) and Sam Rowell (9.26) all performing well. The under 15 girls also performed well with the team coming home in 24th place with Matilda Byrnes (8.33), Imogen Gush (9.23) and May Mannion (8.59).
