Saturday 5th June – Sport City

Well done to all ECH athletes who competed in the first match of the series at Sport City. Some amazing results all round with winning performances coming from Archie McLaren (U15 300m A), Ethan Sykes (U15 800m A) and Joe Harney (U15 Discus B).

Sunday 17th July – Sport City

The second match took place again at Sport City with ECH juniors finishing a creditable 4th overall out of 6 teams with 213 points. Ethan Sykes had a great run in the under 15 boys 300m race winning with a fantastic time of 40.6. Ethan also won the discus and javelin events with throws of 24.95m and 34.08m respectively to round off a great days work. Amelia Jones won the long jump B event jumping a distance of 3.17m.

Well done to all athletes who took part and tried their best for the team on the day.

Saturday 4th September – East Cheshire

The final match of the series took place at our track. A massive thank you to all the helpers on the day who put on a fantastic event. ECH finished a creditable 3rd overall out of 6 teams with a total of 370 points.

Excellent winning performances came from Archie McLaren (U15 boys 300m A – 40.1), Joe Taylor (U15 boys Javelin B – 18.64), Emily Bowker (U15 girls 300m B – 43.2), Caitlin Shaw-Humphreys (U15 girls Javelin B – 10.00m), Marshall Fleet (U13 boys 1200m B – 4.06.2), Lucas Rhodes (U13 boys Shot B – 5.38m), Sebastian Stewart (U13 Javelin B – 13.17m), Amelia Jones, (U13 girls High Jump B – 1.10m), Isla Herring (U13 girls Shot B – 4.14m) and Olivia Kelly (U13 girls Javelin B – 11.99m).
