Members who wish to compete for the club need to be registered with England Athletics. Members can chose to allow the club to provide England Athletics with their personal data which will allow then to access an online portal called myAthletics which will allow members to set and amend their privacy settings.
If members do not wish to access the EA portal or do not want the club to provide EA with their personal data, they can still be registered with England Athletics and receive an EA number as we have traditionally done.
There will be a form on the bar for members to complete and return to the bar for the attention of the Club Secretary.
Also, below is a copy of ECH & TAC Privacy Policy which will be printed on the reverse of the Codes of Conduct (new members completing an application for will receive a copy of the Codes of Conduct with and tear-off/signed slip to say they have read and agree to the Codes of Conduct and Privacy Policy).
Privacy Policy:
* In accordance with General Data Protection Regulations members’ personal data will be stored and used for ECH & TAC use only and will not be passed to any third party.
* However, if members have given their consent, their personal data will be provided to England Athletics which will enable those members to access an online portal (members who wish to compete for the club under UKA rules must be registered with England Athletics).
* Members who officially resign from the club will have their personal data deleted as soon as is reasonably practical.
