East Cheshire Harriers & Tameside Athletics Club Cross Country Grand Prix 2013

Volunteers are required for the following dates to assist at the club

 

DATES:              Saturday 5th October – Saturday 26th October – Saturday 16th November

 

TIME:                  9.30am – 12noon (approx)

 

VENUE:              East Cheshire Harriers and Tameside Athletic Club, Richmond Street Athletics Stadium, Richmond Street, Ashton-under-Lyne

 

COST:                £10 per school for the series (Cheques made payable to Tameside Athletics Development Group)

 

AGE GROUPS: U 9 boys and girls – over 1200 meters (approx.)

                            U11 boys and girls – Slightly longer

 

As I am sure many of you are aware, East Cheshire Harriers & Tameside Athletics Club (In partnership with Tameside Athletics Development Group) has for many years now hosted a series of cross country races through the winter months which has been well attend by schools across Tameside and adjoining boroughs. The races give children the opportunity, many of them their first, to take part in in cross county competitions. The events are a good way for your school to prepare for the cross country championships which take place in February and are again hosted by East Cheshire Harriers & Tameside Athletics Club.
