Northern Cross Country Relays 2018 – Superb Bronze for the under 13 boys!

The Northern Athletics Cross Country Relays took place at the usual Graves Park in Sheffield on Saturday 20th October. There were some great team performances from ECH in the junior races with the highlight of the day coming in the under 13 boys race with a superb 3rd place and Bronze medals for Luke Carrington (5.47), James McGraw (5.44) and James Harney (5.54). The B team also performed well finishing 28th overall with Sam Lomas (6.44), Edward Rankin (6.22) and Cole Wright (6.48) all running well.

The under 11 girls performed brilliantly to finish in a fantastic 4th place overall with great runs from Darcy Slattery (5.36), Meadow Wright (6.07) and Emily Bowker (5.07) who ran the 2nd fastest overall time on the day! The under 13 girls team finished a solid 12th position overall with good performances from Madelane Stout (6.21), Matilda Byrnes (6.31) and May Mannion (6.06). The B team finished in 30th place with Alice Cunningham (6.59), Imogen Gush (6.59) and Maria Rooke (6.47) making up the team. The under 15 boys ran well to finish 27th overall with Greg Dari (7.12), Ben Clayton (8.32) and Harrison Bowers (8.23).
